This song is called Hello Brooklyn by Jay-Z and Lil Wayne. This song is really cool compared to the other three that i spoke about. This song talks about Jay-Z's love for his home town Brooklyn. Rather than talking about a real woman like the other songs do this song uses Brooklyn as a girl to the rapper. Jay talks about the places he used to hang, the people that used to live there and many other things that describe his relationship with the burrough. The rapper describes Brooklyn as his baby girl. The song is super fun and takes on a different perspective of relationships in comparison to the other songs I chose.

This song is very relevant to the topics that we discussed in class. The entire song is a metaphor within itself. Throughout the song and especially in the chorus Brooklyn is being associated as Jay-Z's girlfriend. The chorus states, "Hello Brooklyn, how you doin'? Where you goin'? Can I come to? And if I can, I'm a be your man You could be my lady and have my baby." This is the first time I have seen someone compare a place to a woman but it makes the song really fun and interesting compared to mundane songs that are redundant about relationships with women. I really like this song and the idea that it shows.
